    Your kids will start talking to you again. You can take the TV out of your bedroom and your spouse will look for something else to do before sleep. With the extra $100 bucks a month you're saving you can upgrade that Ford Escort to something that starts in the winter.

    Another example of Big Brother "helping" As usual, a federal agency imposes a rule that is intended to help the poor hapless consumer, only to cost them more bucks.


    Rich has the right idea.  If cable companies are ripping you off, and the government is inadvertantly assisting them in robbing you, Why are you still a subscriber?  Are Sienfeld reruns really worth it?
